Physical Therapist back to cycling after knee surgery
Ratings Ratings Ratings Ratings Ratings - May 29, 2020

I sustained a bucket handle tear of my medial meniscus in my knee at the end of March, which locked my knee into a bent position. I struggled with all my activities, including: Walking, transferring, working as a Physical Therapist, taking care of my small children, and was unable to be physically active. Thankfully, Dr. Cole and his team treated my condition urgently, and 10 days after my injury, I had surgery. Immediately, I felt better and had minimal to no pain. Since I am a Physical Therapist, I know the importance of rehab after surgery, and I dedicated myself to the therapy post-operatively. I'm elated to report 4.5 weeks after surgery, I have returned to work and all of my other daily activities, but I'm elated to report I met my ultimate goal of resuming road cycling. I'm beyond appreciative to Dr. Cole and his entire team for his prompt treatment and excellent care. I would not be where I am today without him!
