Life Changing 110 pound Weight-loss after Knee Surgery
Ratings Ratings Ratings Ratings Ratings - September 11, 2020

Dear Dr. Cole,

I have been waiting to inform you of how you had transformed my life. You had performed surgery on my right knee in February 2012 for an osteochondral injury. It was an extremely long recovery for me; I would even say it took a total of two years before I felt completely recovered. My life was in transition with my mother-in-law’s passing (I was her caretaker) and kids growing up. The stress was physically hurting me. When my mother-in-law passed, I took it upon myself to start taking care of me. I joined Weight Watchers and started walking more. I am very happy to say that I have lost 110 pounds. I also started getting back into doing sports as when I was younger. Walking lead me into slowly running which lead me into running to beat my times. I also started swimming and have taught aqua-aerobics as I had decades ago. I am proud to say that I have won running races and I am extremely proud of running my first half-marathon last October with a time of 2 hours and 6 minutes. Not too shabby for a then 59-year-old. I am continuing to run and today even did a 9:07 minute mile.

I want to thank you with all my heart. I do not believe I would be in this position today...healthy and happy...if it was not for you. I have attached a few photos.
